Gaming software for kids

Before joining my present job i did a start up where i used to make games for kids, these were all education oriented games, i used to call them go4games, was looking at tweeter and the idea is flashing if its good idea to get those games back up and put them out on a website.

I have all the content ready, close to 600 games for kids of age groups 2-8, unfortunately i do not have the domain with me anymore, go4games has become someone else's baby. Never mind, if any of you can think of a good name please let me know and i will have your name in the credits :) and yes the domain name should also be available.

Its going to get interesting :)

Twitter is awesome

I cannot believe i have just said that, just about 2 wks back i just did not like it, but now after close to 6000 followers i am just loving it. Too much of information is too bad at times, and when you have just too many options, opinions and ways of creating followers, tweeting and ideas to make money things can get very messy.

Now that i have figured out the best way of using all these tools i am more settled down and gives me enough time to enjoy the real thing :)

I did a start up almost 8 years ago, if i had access to something like twitter, i might still be doing business :)
Having said that i love my job, it has given me everything.

My blogs are going to be more on my twitter experiences going fwd :)

Twitter

Twitter looks little dumb to start with, but as you explore it becomes very interesting, its a very nice way of marketing products, not sure i will have a lot of tweets day in and day out but having fun playing with it :)

After a long time...

Not sure what to blog really, but realised its been a long time. Its more out of laziness than anything else that i am not blogging, but maybe i have not been having anything interest to share also i guess :)

One BIG thing that happened in the past few months is Oracle buying Sun - thats big!

Radio one - Bangalore

I love this FM channel the funny thing is it plays all Hindi songs and the DJ's speak Kannada and English. Well, i am not really complaining as its helping me learn Kannada and i seriously want to speak Kannada now!

The channel is fun for one more reason, their comedy tracks

Security...

After the recent Mumbai blasts there has been heightened security everywhere, there is a lot of checking going on of the bags, cars, people...everything.

One point to note here is i am not sure if the security guys know what they are looking for, they are looking - but what they are looking for they have no clue. All they know is as soon a car zoomes into basement make sure using a mirror check whats beneath the car, i asked a security guy if he knew how a potential bomb maybe and was he trained to find and respond back - the answer in most cases is no and this worries me.

We need to secure ourselves and bear the inconvenience of these checks, but fundamentally if we forget the complete reason behind these checks i am not really sure if these are going to be of any help.
